History
A post-diploma education institution was established in Sumy region on September 1st of 1939.
In 1994 the Institute of Advanced Teachers Studies was reformed to the Sumy Regional Institute of Post-diploma Education of Pedagogical Personnel.
In 2001 by the order of Sumy department of Education and Science Sumy Regional Institute of Post-diploma Education of Pedagogical Personnel reformed to the Sumy Regional Univercity of Post-diploma Pedagogical Education (SRPDPP).
Today Sumy Regional Univercity of Post-diploma Pedagogical Education is a higher education institution of III-IV accreditation levels.
